Surgical Cosmetic Options

Blepharoplasty

Blepharoplasty can be both a functional and cosmetic surgical procedure intended to reshape the upper eyelid or lower eyelid by the removal or repositioning of excess tissue as well as by reinforcement of surrounding muscles and tendons.

Ptosis

Ptosis is the medical term for drooping of the upper eyelid(s). Ptosis can be corrected surgically and usually involves tightening the levator muscle to elevate the eyelid. The goal is to elevate the eyelid to permit a full field of vision and to achieve symmetry with the opposite upper eyelid.

Brow Lift

A forehead lift, also known as a brow-lift or browplasty, is a cosmetic surgery procedure used to elevate a drooping eyebrow that may obstruct vision and/or to remove the worry lines that run across the forehead.

Ectropion/Entropion

Ectropion means that the lower eyelid is “rolled out” or sagging away from the eye. Entropion is a condition in which the eyelid is rolled inward toward the eye. Either can cause dryness, irritation or eye sensitivity. There are a number of surgical techniques for successfully treating entropion and ectropion, and most patients experience immediate resolution of the problem following surgery.

Mid-Face Lift

The area between your lower eyelids and your mouth is considered the mid-face. As you age, the effects of gravity, repeated muscle contraction, and lifestyle cause the skin, fat, and muscle in this region to move downwards.

Nonsurgical Cosmetic Options

Latisse

Latisse is a prescription medication which promotes eyelash growth, for fuller, longer eyelashes.

Botox

Botox® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate-to-severe frown lines between the brows in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time (temporary). Botox® Cosmetic is administered by a healthcare professional as a simple, nonsurgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles between the brows. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form between the brows.

Fillers

Restylane: Restylane is a gel that is injected into the skin in order to add volume to lips and lift up wrinkles and folds. Restylane consists of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance already present in your body. Once in the skin, Restylane works by creating volume. When enhancing lips or facial contours, Restylane adds volume and shape to the treated area.

Radiesse: Healthy young skin contains collagen that gives it volume, flexibility and strength. As part of the aging process, your own natural collagen breaks down, diminishing facial volume. This loss of elasticity and volume results in the wrinkles, facial lines and skin laxity that rob your skin of its youthful appearance. The ideal way to achieve wrinkle reduction is by replenishing lost volume. With Radiesse® wrinkle filler, you welcome back your own natural collagen to smooth out the signs of aging.

Juvederm: Juvederm is a smooth gel filler that is used to instantly smooth away wrinkles around your mouth and nose. From smile lines to vertical lip lines, you can smooth away unwanted wrinkles and restore natural contours. The result is natural-looking and can last up to a year.
